March Giveaway
So, I’m working on trying to get a giveaway a month. Luckily, the wonderful people at Dansko decided to help out!
They’re super popular with nursing shoes and have offered to hook someone up with a free pair!

I love my Danskos, they are the only shoe I can wear that doesn’t hurt my feet at the end of the day. After being stuck with the plain white ones through school, I’m drooling over the Python ones! I can’t decide whether I like green or blue better!
Wow, that’s cool that Dansko is giving away a pair of shoes through your blog! I’ve been a stalker for a while now (sorry!) but this seems like a great time to come out.
So I’m only in my first year of nursing school and I have never actually owned a pair of Danskos. Right now, I just wear cheap tennis shoes, but even in the 6 hours we are at clinical I can tell my feet would be much happier in nicer, well-made shoes. These Danskos seem like a great choice: comfortable, supportive, anti-bacterial and ant-odor, cleanable leather (important for anyone in healthcare!), durable, non-slip…the list goes on! Most importantly, they have so many styles to choose from. I’m still young and had convinced myself that I would at least wait a few years before I broke down and bought “nursey” shoes, but there are several options of Danskos that have the good qualities to protect my feet and are not so bad looking! My favorite from what I saw would be the Kelsey in White smooth leather (in school still!), I think size 40 (not sure, i’m a 9 or 9.5 so kind of in between 39-40). They are really cute and look SO comfortable, perfect for school and hopefully, my career. Me and my feet would be overjoyed if we won! Thanks for the offer and can’t wait for Friday to find out
I’ve worn a pair of danskos for several years. Now in looking to start nursing school in the summer or fall, I’m looking for something to meet the dress code. I think they’d be a great nursing shoe because they are easy to take care of. My other pair wipes clean most of the time and polishes up nicely.
I do wish that the dansko website had a feature to sort by color. I only found two styles that come in white. If I win, I’d love to have the professional stapled clog in white, size 39.
I have to be honest… I’ve never worn a pair of Danskos. I figured I’d wait till I finished school before I treated myself to a rocking pair of nursing shoes. After looking at the website, though, I like that the shoes are given the seal of acceptance by the American Podiatric Medical Association (wow!). I also like that they are “easy to maintain”… with such a busy schedule I don’t want to have to fuss about shoe maintenance. =)
That said, if I were to win… I’d probably get the black, box-leather Phoebes in 7.5/8.
My best friend is just about done with her B.A. in Nursing at Allen Hospital. I know she would love a pair of Danskos! Right now she is wearing Crocs (which are comfy but dont hold up well) I told her about Danskos but with money being tight she hasn’t been able to get any yet.
I owned a pair of Dansko clogs for close to 20 years, so for the price, you do certainly get your moneys worth!I was a nursing assistant and let me tell you, there is nothing worse than sore feet wearing the wrong shoes.
I would love to see her in a Kate style size 40 (9.5-10) they are cute enough that when she gets off work she can keep them on and still be stylish! It would be fantastic to surprise her with these!
I’ve always heard that Dansko’s are extremely comfortable and I’ve always wanted to try them out. I imagine being a nurse that you’re on your feet all day – so why wear cheap shoes?
My faves are the Solstice in black.
I have worked in the medical field for some time and have finally made the move to nursing school! I would love to try a pair of Danskos at no charge because I’m hard pressed to find a good fit. My toes spread when I step down so many shoes are too narrow even though they’re my size. I would love to try the Phoebe in white, size 7.5-8.0.
I love dansko’s. I wore one pair for about 3 years,,,,,,,still use them today,,,,,My favorites are the blue python patents in the professional line. They are just too wild!
